AI Chat

AI Chat lets you ask questions about your archived content using natural language. Instead of manually searching through your archives, you can ask questions like "What were the key findings from last month's research?" or "Summarize the articles I saved about renewable energy." The AI analyzes your archived pages and provides answers based on the content you have saved.

AI Chat works exclusively with your own archives — it only has access to content you have saved, not the broader internet.

AI Chat usage is measured in credits. Each conversation with the AI consumes a number of credits depending on the length and complexity of the exchange. You receive a monthly allowance of credits that resets each billing period. You can also purchase additional credits that never expire.

Your available credit balance is always displayed in the AI Chat panel, so you know exactly how much usage you have remaining.

Credits are organized into three pools:

• Free credits — a one-time grant when you first start using AI Chat, useful for trying out the feature.
• Plan credits — a monthly allowance that resets at the start of each billing period. These are included with paid plans.
• Purchased credits — credits you buy separately that never expire. They are used only when your plan credits run out.

You can configure the order in which credits are consumed from your AI settings page.

Open the AI Chat panel from your dashboard. Type your question in natural language and the AI will search your archives for relevant content and compose an answer. The AI references specific archives it draws information from, and you can click through to view the original sources.

AI Chat maintains conversation context within a session, so you can ask follow-up questions without repeating yourself.

Each message you send in AI Chat consumes credits based on the amount of content the AI needs to analyze to answer your question. Longer questions, questions that require searching many archives, and requests for detailed summaries will use more credits than simple, focused queries.

You can see the credit cost of each exchange displayed alongside the AI's response.

Your credit balance is visible in the AI Chat panel header. It shows your remaining plan credits and purchased credits separately. You can also view your detailed credit usage history, including monthly usage breakdowns, from your AI settings page.
